Get ready for something totally new…. a multi-part wedding post! This wedding was such a treat for me for a couple of reasons. First off Erin is the big sister of one of my best friends so I’ve known her for about 15 years. That’s pretty cool. The other reason was that aside from being in a gorgeous location, the flowers were also provided by one of my absolute FAVORITE florists, Annette Gomez, who also happened to be the florist at my own wedding a few years ago. I was so excited to shoot this wedding and let me tell you it did not disappoint! I couldn’t decide on the usual 10-20 favorites and I figured I had two options. Either make the world’s longest blog post (which I didn’t want to do) or leave out some of the ones that I loved (which I also didn’t want to do) so instead I’m going to give you a few posts spread out through the week. This morning’s edition features all of the pre-ceremony stuff that I love love love! This is still going to be a pretty long post so get ready
A little Jimmy Choo to start your day? Yes please
Love love love this one! How classic is this look?
GOOORGEOUS! This is one seriously good looking bride!
I couldn’t resist a little Anette detail goodness
The handsome groom
and his men…
Ok that’s it for now
Hope you enjoyed your morning dose of Erin & Darrin wedding fabulousness! Stay tuned for more later on in the week. You will not be disappointed!
I couldn’t have been more excited to photograph the super awesome wedding of Candi and Bret at the Coronado Community Center in San Diego a few weeks ago. These two are some of the most fun and crafty people I’ve ever met and their wedding was full to the brim with super personal details and fun little bits of “them” thrown in. Add in a handsome groom and oh so pretty bride and I had quite the day of fabulous photo ops. I had so much fun picking and editing favorites in fact that I got a bit carried away so get ready for a super long post
I know what you really want to see is the images so I’ll spare you most of the commentary on this one so you can get right to the fun part… gorgeous wedding goodness! Ready… set…. go!!

can you say gorgeous?!
I know I said no commentary.. but how cool are these guitar pick favors? Favorite by far!

Candi and Bret your wedding was absolutely fabulous! I wish you nothing but the best and a big huge congrats!! Thanks also to Jackie for coming along to shoot with me.
Yesterday was my first wedding of the year and man oh man was I excited to shoot it! I LOVE my job and I LOVE weddings and I was going a little crazy from having been out of the game for so long. Eugene and Bodana were married at the St. Regis Monarch Beach Resort and it was an absolutely gorgeous wedding on a perfect southern California afternoon. Thanks so much to Josef Isayo for inviting me along to shoot with him, I couldn’t imagine a more beautiful wedding or beautiful couple to start out the season with
Here are a few of my favorites… get ready for gorgeousness!!
Eugene hanging out with his groomsmen

Bodana looking like quite lovely

There wasn’t much time after the ceremony so they opted for a “first look” to see each other and get some portraits beforehand. I love this shot because she looks so excited and so ready to get married
The wedding took place around sunset which was gorgeous, but a little like shooting straight into the center of the sun
Congratulations Eugene and Bodana! A life of health and happiness to you both!
So I posted a while back about Chris and Tara’s engagement and that I was leaving for their wedding.. Chris is (for those of you not “in the know”) my big brother and Tara is one of my very best friends, so needless to say their wedding day was quite exciting for me! It was a big deal for us to travel out there for the wedding because it was the first plane ride with the twins (yikes!) and first time I’d been further than a few miles from the house for a really… really… really long time. I didn’t get the honor of being the photographer at the wedding because I had the EVEN BIGGER honor of being one of the bridesmaids (or since I’m married does that make me a bride’s matron?) but I did bring my camera to the “getting ready” portion of the day and here are just a very few of my favorites ![]()
Like I said… lots of bridesmaids duties (and twin momma duties) prevented me from taking more photos later in the day, but if you want to see lots of gorgeousness from this wedding definitely head on over to their wedding photographer Stacy Cross’s blog to see this and other gorgeous shots:

It really was a fantastic day! I love you guys both, congrats
