Sarah and Eli are ridiculously cute. And don’t worry… I warned them ahead of time that I was somewhat addicted to the word cute, and since they ARE so cute that it might get overused with reference to them

We met up in old Carlsbad for their engagement session and had such a blast wandering around to a couple of random spots I had scoped out. These two are so much fun and it was Sarah’s birthday which made it extra fun! These two are a pretty adventurous couple… I was treated to tales of all of the dangerous situations Eli had gotten them into.. including getting chased by a bear! With a past like that the engagement session must have been a breeze in comparison They were totally up for anything and smiling the entire time which is just so… dare I say? Cute! With a couple as photogenic as this one I was bound to come out with heaps of favorites, but I managed to whittle it down to a reasonable number. One of their favorite couples activities is bike riding so Eli managed to talk a local bike shop owner into letting us get a few quick shots on his tandem bike… fun!

I couldn’t have been more excited to photograph the super awesome wedding of Candi and Bret at the Coronado Community Center in San Diego a few weeks ago. These two are some of the most fun and crafty people I’ve ever met and their wedding was full to the brim with super personal details and fun little bits of “them” thrown in. Add in a handsome groom and oh so pretty bride and I had quite the day of fabulous photo ops. I had so much fun picking and editing favorites in fact that I got a bit carried away so get ready for a super long post I know what you really want to see is the images so I’ll spare you most of the commentary on this one so you can get right to the fun part… gorgeous wedding goodness! In case you missed the post a few days ago, Ben and I had a family photo shoot with Jackie last weekend and are so excited about our new family portraits! I loved the teasers she posted on her blog but she put up EVEN MORE photos yesterday… so in case you just can’t get enough of my adorable twins, go check her blog

Melyssa and Jeff were married in a gorgeous and heartfelt outdoor ceremony at the Mission Beach Woman’s Club. The wedding was officiated by a close friend, which always makes the ceremony extra special and this one was no exception! It was an absolutely fabulous evening, complete with lots of vegetarian food (what a treat for me!) and an ice cream sundae bar (Oh my goodness, could it get any better?! ) and of course, the best part of all… lots and LOTS of dancing. This crowd knows how to kick up their heels! I had so much fun and so much trouble narrowing down my favorites, but here are a few highlights from the day!

After the ceremony we headed out for some portraits… this one just seemed kind of vintage to me so I went with it, isn’t Melyssa’s dress gorgeous?!

If there’s one thing I love at a wedding it’s people having fun and people DANCING! This crowd was on the dance floor all night long and it was such a blast to see everyone having so much fun.
