This post is a long time in coming and I know Emma’s dying to see the pictures
The wedding was just TOO fabulous and I couldn’t decide which images to post so I got a little carried away and picked about a million (as I tend to do) To make it more manageable I’m going to post in two parts, up first details and ceremony with a few portraits, next post will be the reception! The wedding was held at the gorgeous Oak Farm Vineyards in northern California. It was a perfect day for a perfect couple! Of course it was made even more amazing due to the absolutely perfect florals by Embellish Floral All together it was a ridiculously fabulous day and I am so honored that I could be there to document it!
Without further ado… the images.
Loving this ring shot
The light in the getting ready room was fabulous! Miss Emma getting laced into her gorgeous gown
Some of the amazing details
Emma reading a note from Nick right before the ceremony, I love these ones!
GORGEOUS!
Have you ever seen a more beautiful group of ladies?!
The handsome groom
Emma with her dad at the start of the ceremony. The whole day was so full of genuine emotion!
What an amazing spot to get married right?! Love it!
Nick was also ridiculously happy to get hitched
A few of the couples’ portraits. One of my favorite parts of the day!
Nick and Emma I had such a blast at your wedding! Stay tuned for Part II of your wedding blog post soon!
What do you get when you cross an absolutely GORGEOUS bride with a handsome groom on a fabulous late summer day in a picturesque vineyard in northern California? Why, Nick and Emma’s wedding of course! I know I say this about all of my weddings (because it’s true!) but this was one of the most beautiful weddings I’ve ever seen! Emma looked positively radiant and Nick was just beaming from ear to ear. They had the fantastic backdrop of the Oak Farm Vineyards for their big day and it was simply stunning all around! I just flew back yesterday and I’m still getting my bearings, so the full blog post will have to wait for a day or two. For now here’s a little bitty sneak peek. Congratulations Nick & Emma!
Jenny and Jeremy make me smile. A big squishy goofy grin to be exact. I’ve known Jenny for a long time. Ten years give or take. And she’s one of the funniest, nicest, most awesome people I know. When I heard that she was dating someone who was the exact perfect match for her, the “male version of Jenny” as someone put it, I was skeptical. How can someone be as fun and crazy as Jenny but still be as sweet and awesome and… well… fabulous? But as soon as I met Jeremy I knew it was the truth. These two go together like peanut butter and jelly. They’re only made better by being near each other and I just have to say that their engagement session in Balboa Park was one of the most fun shoots I have ever done. Period. It was nonstop singing, dancing, jumping and smiling. As I was getting in my car to drive home I realized that my sides hurt from laughing so hard, and my face was in a perma-grin. You just have to know that I could NOT decide which photos to post so I went a little nuts. I might even post a slideshow later because I’m not kidding you there are just THAT MANY fun shots from this shoot. So on to the photos…
How. Stinkin. Cute. Seriously… don’t you love them already?
I love how they make each other laugh
And the action shots! Can I just take a second right now to tell you about the action shots?! I know there are some people out there (not many of my clients though, I can tell you that much) that think they’re too “cool” for jumping shots. I personally think they’re ridiculously fun. Especially if you decide to go for a running, leaping, full body chest bump into a swing around. Now that my friends makes for good photography
Seriously though. These two are a blast!
This is one of my favorites… Jenny is just a hair shorter than her future husband
More jumping. I’m sorry Jenny, your vertical leap has nothing on Jeremy’s. Check out that air!
And oh yes, we took a couple of “serious” ones as well
This is why it’s called the “magic hour”… how I love our San Diego sunlight!
Ok… enough with the mushy stuff… back to the action shots. Check out this ninja move. And no, I totally did NOT plan this. Every time I looked down to change a lens or switch my settings these two would be up to something hilarious. I love it!
A few last sweet shots
Jenny and Jeremy you have no idea how much I’m looking forward to your wedding. It’s going to be the best, I can already tell
I knew this was going to happen… start a wedding blog post for a fabulous wedding and get completely carried away! There are far too many photos in this post but oh well… they’re all gorgeous so I guess they’ll have to stay
Sarah and Eli are such a fabulous couple! They are so full of life and love and did I mention they’re super cute too? They got married at Levyland in Carlsbad, a fantastic location right on the beach that I just loved! Not only is the ocean breeze and view spectacular, so is the inside of the house. As a former architect I thought it was a pretty cool spot to shoot getting ready pictures. Lots of big windows, beautiful natural light, and oh yeah… a super cute bride and bridal party
Onto the pictures!
Sarah is teeny tiny right down to her feet. These have got to be the smallest bridal shoes I’ve ever seen… size 4 1/2 I think. So cute!
How gorgeous is this bride?! Seriously fabulous!
With her mom and sister… awwwww
I love the moment right before the wedding with the bride and her father, it’s one of my favorite parts of the wedding day!
What a gorgeous location for a wedding right?!
Call me crazy but I think Sarah was excited to be getting married… her face right after being announced as husband and wife
After the ceremony we headed to the beach for some portraits. I love the blue dresses with the sand… such a classy look!
The guys
One of my favorites!
The reception started right around the “magic hour” with amazing sun kissed light… it was like a mythical land with all of the hanging flowers and lanterns… seriously gorgeous! I couldn’t get enough of it!
I told you these two were cute… even eating cake they’re cute
First dance. Another favorite!
Sarah and Eli your wedding was amazing! I wish you all the best in the future… congratulations!!
Yesterday I had the pleasure of photographing a gorgeous wedding with an amazing and sweet couple. I just love Sarah and Eli and I can’t wait to show you off their wedding
I couldn’t choose just one for the sneak peek so instead you get to see two.
How gorgeous is Sarah?!
