Tara & Tyrone Married!

This wedding blog post is a long time in coming but my blogging is a little slow with the twins around! Tara and Tyrone were the last wedding that I had scheduled before my delivery due date this fall. They were married back in September and I was SUPER excited for their wedding since I had such a great time with Tara when she came to meet with me back when she was picking a photographer. I unfortunately wasn’t able to make it to their wedding due to my pregnancy complications and bedrest, but I was lucky enough to have two absolutely AMAZING backup photographers who stepped in to cover the wedding for me. A million thank yous to Drew from Drew B Photography and Rowena of Rowena Curtis Photography for doing such an amazing job at this wedding. You can see much more photo goodness on each of their blogs…. but for now a few of my favorites!




Congratulations Tara and Tyrone on an absolutely GORGEOUS wedding! I am so sorry that I wasn’t able to make it but I know you are going to LOVE all of the images. Thank you thank you thank you to Drew and Rowena for doing such a fantastic job at this wedding, you two are the best!

Jessica & Sal Married!

This post is a little behind schedule (my blogging in general is behind schedule, so sorry!!) but I couldn’t go another day without posting some gorgeous photos from the wedding of Jessica and Sal!

These two are an awesome couple and I knew Jessica was going to make a gorgeous bride and plan a beautiful wedding from the moment I met her! I had a great time with them shooting their engagement photos at Disneyland a few months ago and couldn’t wait for their August wedding! Unfortunately due to my doctor’s orders I was put on bed rest for my twin pregnancy and was not able to attend their wedding. Talk about disappointment!

Luckily two of my fellow photographers were on hand to help me out and they did an amazing job of capturing this beautiful wedding. All of the images in this post are courtesy of the lovely Kara Frans and the amazingly talented Nely Folk! I have snatched a couple of my favorites from Nely’s blog to post in static form here.. if you want to see more please visit her blog! I have also put together a “best of” slideshow featuring both Nely and Kara’s work. These two really outdid themselves, thank you so much ladies :)

Laura & Mark Married!

Laura and Mark are such a fabulous couple! They are so sweet and so in love, their smiles are absolutely infectious! They were married at the beautiful Rancho Santa Ana Botanic Gardens in Claremont, which was a perfect backdrop to their special day. I was helped out by my friend Rowena who came along as my second shooter the day since I am getting quite big by this point in my pregnancy :) If you haven’t had enough of Laura and Mark after this post please go check out her blog to see some of her great shots!

I started out the day with Laura and her ladies getting ready… she had such a gorgeous dress and shoes I couldn’t just post one photo… and I should warn you as well that this is going to be a long post! Thank you Laura and Mark for your patience with me getting these all online!

After the ceremony we headed out to do some couple portraits…. I love when a couple is so happy and so radiant, it makes my job so easy!

After the portraits it was time for the reception, and what a great reception it was! The night kicked off with a great first dance by Laura and Mark

The toasts were pretty fantastic as well… this is certainly a loving family who knows how to give a speech!

Once dinner was over the music picked up and this crowd really hit the dance floor! You know I love a good dancing crowd… so much fun!! :)

Sneak Peek: Laura & Mark Married!

Ok this post is a long time in coming!  I am so sorry for the lack of blogging in the last few weeks, I’ve had a couple of health issues that have kept me away from my desk and unable to get to all of the blogging I’d like to be doing!

Laura and Mark had an absolutely FANTASTIC wedding and I love this couple!  They are so sweet, so cute, and they have such fabulous taste that my job was a total breeze on their big day!  I have heaps and heaps of photo goodness to show you from their wedding, but since I haven’t been able to get it all ready for the blog yet I decided to give you a little teensy tiny sneak of what’s to come.

Is this not an absolutely gorgeous couple?  Love it!! :)

Melyssa & Jeff Married!

Melyssa and Jeff were married in a gorgeous and heartfelt outdoor ceremony at the Mission Beach Woman’s Club. The wedding was officiated by a close friend, which always makes the ceremony extra special and this one was no exception! It was an absolutely fabulous evening, complete with lots of vegetarian food (what a treat for me!) and an ice cream sundae bar (Oh my goodness, could it get any better?! :) ) and of course, the best part of all… lots and LOTS of dancing. This crowd knows how to kick up their heels! I had so much fun and so much trouble narrowing down my favorites, but here are a few highlights from the day!

If there’s one thing I love at a wedding it’s people having fun and people DANCING! This crowd was on the dance floor all night long and it was such a blast to see everyone having so much fun.
