My blog posts lately have been shamefully few and far between. Blame it on the crazy busy season or the holidays or the fact that my children went bananas with the time change… in any case I owe you a LOT of blogging… and it will be coming soon! To tide you over here are a few random sneak peeks from a bunch of family portraits I did in the last few weeks (’tis the season and I have a few family portrait sessions left before the holidays if you’re still interested!)

Remember that contest I had a few months back… the “Spread the Love Giveaway“… well you didn’t think I went and forgot about the couple who won now, did you?! Things have been so crazy busy in the last few months that scheduling a shoot has been nearly impossible. Luckily this weekend was the perfect combination of a free day for me (hooray!) and a free weekend for Amanda and Steve. I was so ridiculously excited for their retro shoot and I was not disappointed! You will not be able to get enough of this couple once you see them. Just one sneaky little peek for now…

Whew… it feels like it’s been forever since I’ve blogged!  Don’t be mad… I’m just so ridiculously busy it’s insane!  I have been out of town EVERY WEEKEND this month and I’m going to be out of town AGAIN this weekend shooting another wedding.  I’m exhausted just thinking about all the traveling I’ve been doing!  The most exciting trip by far was the one we just got home from… a super quick hop over to Kansas to visit Ben’s sister Kate and her husband Jon.  They just had a brand new baby girl Charlotte, which means I’m an aunt!  I know I’m already a mom but there’s something totally different and exciting about being an aunt.  Maybe it’s the fact that I can play with and ooh and ah over how adorable she is, but the poopy diapers aren’t my responsibility

Since she was only a week and a half old when we visited I was able to take some awake shots AND some darling sleepy newborn shots of her.  I just love them!  Here are my favorites (although it was SO hard to pick, she’s the second cutest baby girl ever)

When I first started shooting she was so wide awake and curious. Don’t you just love her eyes?!

I love this look she’s giving her momma… sigh. She’s soooo cute!

After a little milk break she decided to get sleepy and I love these ones!

Kate and Jon CONGRATS! I couldn’t be happier, honestly! I love your little baby girl and I am so happy to finally have gotten a chance to meet her! Yay for baby cousins!

What can I say? I love photographing twins. Especially boy/girl twins since it is so fun to see two totally different little personalities in full force Little Miss H and little Mr. H just recently celebrated their half birthday and I went over to their house to take some pictures to commemorate the occasion. I cannot get over how cute these two are! They are not only a ridiculously cute pair of babies but they have pretty much the coolest nursery ever (seriously, I want to move in!) and their mom and dad aren’t half bad either

First up little Miss H… can you believe these eyes? What a gorgeous little lady already!

And little Mr. H… not half bad either Such a cutie with his gorgeous smile!

We of course had to get some together as well.

I love this one because it is totally something my little guys would do… always chewing on each other. It’s hilarious!

I get a kick out of this one too… the face! The face is too cute!
