Sneak Peek: Allison & Mark {Married!}

This weekend I attended one of the best weddings ever (other than my own of course)… the wedding of my very own little sister Allison. I had strict instructions that as the matron of honor and NOT the photographer I was to be “off duty” during the wedding so you won’t be seeing any portraits or ceremony shots from me (hard to hide a camera in a bouquet anyways). Even with those instructions I couldn’t leave my camera behind so what you will see coming up in the next few days are some getting ready shots (ok a LOT of getting ready shots) from before the amazing official photographer Mindy arrived, and also a few that I snuck in while Allison was looking the other way after the ceremony

The wedding was absolutely gorgeous and of course the flowers were as well since they were provided by one of my all time favorites, Annette Gomez! Check out this teeny tiny sneak peek of how gorgeous the details were… love love love!

Sneak Peek: Sarah & Eli {Engaged!}

Well I’m back in town… did you miss me

I had an amazing week with my sister and her wedding was FABULOUS. I can’t wait to show you some pictures but there are approximately 200 million of them and it might take me a while to sort through all of them. In the meantime I have so much to post to get you all caught up on what I’ve been working on for the past few weeks. First up is an engagement session that I shot in Carlsbad for Sarah and Eli. They are getting married this summer and I can’t wait for their wedding, they are such a blast to work with! More images will be coming very soon but for now here’s one of my favorites!

Out of Office

I can’t believe it’s already July… which means my little sister is getting married in just over a week! Eep!! I am so ridiculously excited to be her matron of honor and spend the week with her getting ready for the big day!

I’ll be out of town from July 3-13th, I won’t have access (or time) to answer my emails so please be patient and I’ll get right back to you as soon as I get home! Of course there will be more pictures when I return as well… so please do check back

In the meantime one of my sister’s favorite engagement photos… a bit of a blast from the past since we took them over a year ago when she got engaged. But still a favorite nonetheless. She calls it the superhero shot, I bet you can see why

Kate + 1 {Maternity Portraits}

Kate is one of the women that looks like I wish I’d looked when I was pregnant. Tiny and cute with just the most adorable little bubble of a belly in front. I mean she’s 8 months pregnant and STILL wearing her wedding rings. That’s impressive. I think mine came off at about 5 months due to my gigantic hands

Seriously though she looks amazing and I was honored to take some maternity photos for her. Who doesn’t love photographing glowing pregnant women? Here are a few of my favorites
