Allison is my baby sister. True she’s grown up to be a smart beautiful independent adult woman, but she’s still my baby sister. Sometimes it’s hard for me to realize that she’s actually getting married this summer (but then again maybe it’s hard for her to believe that I have two kids so I guess we’re even 
) Our amazingly talented hostess/chef/superwoman aunt threw her a bridal shower a few weeks ago and I have been meaning to post a few photos from it ever since. I am not kidding when I say that my aunt should be an event designer. The level of detail she goes to for every event, holiday, or even just family meal at her place is amazing! Check out a few of the details. Allison’s wedding colors are orange and blue and she’s having origami birds as favors so Bonnie picked up on all of that for the shower!

There was a “not yet newlywed” game where Allison’s fiance had been previously videotaped answering a bunch of questions. They had to match up their answers… here’s the bride to be thinking very hard about the answer to one of the questions (they did pretty well by the way, only 6 wrong I think)

Allison I can’t believe your wedding is just a few short months away!! I am so excited to be your matron of honor and see you make such a huge step on your life’s journey.
