Happy Holidays!! I have been meaning to post this for several days now when I left town for the holidays but things got a little bit hectic and I didn’t get a chance. In case you’ve emailed me in the last few days I want to apologize, I’ve been out of the office and out of town and I actually won’t be back until the new year. I hope that you all have been enjoying a safe and happy holiday season, I certainly have!

I also wanted to share a few quick updated photos of my favorite little ones, these guys turned 3 months yesterday, I can’t believe how time flies! They are both smiling up a storm which melts my heart and I can’t believe how big they are getting! The trick with twin portraits I’ve discovered is that I can never catch them smiling at exactly the same moment… maybe next time

I had a great “day after” session with one of my favorite couples… Sam and Will were married a few months ago and after their fabulous Getty Center engagement session I knew their day after session was going to be a blast! Check out their one sneak peak image… more to come soon!

I got an email from Meredith right before Thanksgiving asking if I’d be in San Diego for the holidays. I was SO excited because 1. I LOVE family sessions and I was so excited to meet her and her adorable kiddo and 2. I haven’t been able to do a lot of shooting since the babies were born and I was really excited to get out and do a fun session.
We had a bit of a cloudy day at Moonlight Beach in Encinitas, but like I always tell my clients sometimes cloudy is best for photographs. I think that a couple of other families had the same idea (holiday weekend + nice day = time for family photos) because the beach was packed, but we still managed to find an empty patch of sand and get some great family photos.
This has to be one of the happiest smiliest families I’ve ever seen and I had a great time! Thanks so much for a fun morning guys.. here are a few of my favorites

Meredith also happens to be pregnant with baby #2 so we took a couple of very quick shots of her gorgeous baby belly… she looks absolutely fabulous!

It’s finally here… Chris and Tara’s wedding weekend! I am so excited to be in Dallas this weekend for the wedding of my big brother to one of my best friends! Thanks so much for your patience with phone calls and email while I’m out of the office. I’ll be back Monday. Have a great weekend!

I had a great family session over the holiday weekend and I cannot wait to post some of their fabulous images! Things are kind of crazy around here… Ben and I are preparing to take the twins on their first flight to my brother’s wedding this weekend and it’s a bit nuts! I probably won’t get the full blog post up from this session until we return but I wanted to do a little sneak peak
