A quick baby update

Thank you so much to everyone for the warm words of welcome for our little peanuts!

This has been a bit of a tough week for Ben and I, the babies are both still in the NICU and we have been at home without them since I was discharged from the hospital last Sunday. Amelia and Paul are both doing fabulously, but the doctors wanted to keep them in the hospital until they were absolutely 100% sure that they would be eating well and gaining weight on their own at home. We still don’t have a solid date on when they will be released, but we’re getting hints that it might be this week, which would be VERY exciting!

I can’t believe how much they have both changed and filled out (getting chubby cheeks!) already in less than two weeks! I am running out the door now on the way to the hospital but I thought I’d post a few more recent photos of our lovely babies before I go.

    Oh my, they are soooo adorable! In the 3rd picture ‘lil Paul looks like Ben! I know you want to get them home but you know the doctors are looking out for their best interest. They will be home in no time. Congrats again!
