Wondering what to get your photo-crazed wife for valentine’s day? Why a heart shaped bokeh maker of course. It takes the out of focus areas of your photo (like for instance the christmas lights in the background of these photos) and makes them heart shaped. Awwww how sweet
Thank you so much for the gift Ben, I love you!

Ps, Herbie says happy Valentine’s day too!

Sorry for the super-nerdy post, I just couldn’t help myself
I’m shooting an engagement session this afternoon so check back in the next couple of days for some of my favorites! Happy Friday!
I was counting the years this morning and realized that this is my 7th year celebrating valentines day together with Ben. 7 years may not seem like much to you parents and grandparents out there, but for us it’s huge! I can’t even remember a time that we weren’t together, and I can’t believe how much we have changed since way back when. I feel like every year that goes by only makes me love him more and I feel so blessed that we found each other. To celebrate this day of love I decided to take you all back in the way back machine to right after Ben and I started dating…. don’t we look like babies? Aww… so cute!

And just because I’ll take any excuse I can get to look at the amazing photos from our very own wedding, here are a couple of shots from the amazing talented duo Nate & Jaclyn Kaiser from the image is found. I still get a warm and fuzzy feeling every time I look at these and I’m sure I always will. How much happier could we possibly be?

Happy Valentine’s day! And just because they remind me of puppy love… here is a sweet treat for all of you

Welcome to the new and improved home of Katy Regnier Photography! I hope you’ll enjoy the new look as much as I do! I have a lot of fun sessions and posts coming your way so please stay tuned… but in the meantime check out everything new around here and let me know what you think! I do love comments… especially in my fancy new comment boxes
Wow, Emiko and Luke’s wedding at Calamigos Ranch was FABULOUS! I love what I do and I love all weddings, but this one was was extra special for so many reasons. First off, Emiko did all of the flowers herself (amazing) and put so many special touches into the details like programs and hand folded origami cranes for every guest (also amazing). They were also just so in love that they were radiating happiness, which really just made my day
I try to keep these posts down to a manageable size but I fear I may have let this one get out of control. Oh well… more for you to browse
We started out the day with Emiko as she started the transformation from beautiful woman to beautiful bride.
Awwww love….. so sweet! Now if that last one doesn’t make you feel warm and fuzzy inside, I don’t know what will! Congratulations Emiko and Luke, I wish you only the best in your future ahead. Special thanks of course to Crissy for bringing me along to help her shoot this wedding, I am so glad I was able to come!
