I had the privilege of shooting with Terri Spath for Matt and Jessica’s beautiful beach wedding on Friday. Jessica was absolutely radiant on her big day! The light in her getting ready room was gorgeous so we took a few portraits before leaving for the ceremony.
The ceremony took place at a beautiful park location overlooking the pacific ocean.
Jessica’s father sung a beautiful and touching song during the ceremony.

The couple was just beaming after the ceremony. They were so full of love!

Afterwards we gathered the whole wedding party and their guests for a big group shot. I love how you can see the love and excitement of all of their friends and family in this shot.

The ceremony was followed with a dinner reception on the water complete with toasts by the bride and grooms fathers.

All together it was a beautiful day full of love and joy. Congratulation Matt & Jessica, it was so great to be a part of your special day!
Yesterday I got together with a great group of photographers in San Diego for a “Trash the Dress” photo shoot. The general idea is that once a bride is done with her wedding and doesn’t need her dress anymore, she does a photoshoot where she lets loose and doesn’t worry about getting a little bit wet or dirty. If you’re looking for more information on this type of shoot you can check out the trash the dress website. Don’t worry, none of the dresses at our session were actually trashed, they’d be perfectly fine after a good cleaning. If you’re looking for an alternative, you can also check out the website for brides against breast cancer. A great organization for brides looking for something to do with their pre-loved gowns!
Yesterday I had the pleasure of shooting a couples’ session for Allison and Mark. They are so cute together and definitely comfortable in front of the camera! Mark kept coming up with his own crazy poses and funny faces. I love it when couples are comfortable being themselves in front of the camera!
Here’s one of Mark’s signature poses. Nice muscles!
Mark laughing after tossing one of Allison’s shoes. Laughing always makes for great natural smiling shots!
Thanks for coming out for the shoot guys, I had a blast! I hope you enjoy your images.
While Chris and Tara were in town from New York I had the pleasure of shooting a portrait session with them. They are such an adorable couple and so full of love. They are so fun to be around and they definitely made my job of shooting very easy! I love to capture emotion in my work and these two were definitely full of genuine fun and goofy emotion!
When I asked them what kind of things they did together as a couple they said that they started making funny faces at each other. Apparently fish face competitions make for good photos!
I love this one! It’s one of my favorites from the day.
Thanks for coming out for the shoot guys! I had a great time and I hope you enjoy your images.
